2015 Keynote Speaker

CMSC Presents:

Keynote Speaker on Tuesday, July 21, 2015

Dana Bowman is a skydiver, a retired member of the U.S. Army's Special Forces and The Golden Knights. He's also a double amputee and the first double amputee to qualify for active duty.  Dana is a role model for excellence.

The Coordinate Metrology Society welcomes Dana to the 2015 CMSC as Keynote Speaker. Dana is a retired Sgt. First Class with the US Army, where he was a Special Forces Soldier and member of the US Army’s elite parachute team, the Golden Knights. Dana is a motivational speaker who touches the able bodied, as well as the disabled. On his conquest over becoming a double-amputee in 1994, he returned to the air with a parachute jump five months after his accident and to military service within nine months. Dana has now returned to one of his passions – being in the air parachuting and flying helicopters – this quest has driven him to share his life-changing story in hopes of being the catalyst that sparks the positive in all of us.
