The CMSC has a reputation for providing full days of technical presentations and educational opportunities and evenings of networking and social events.  In addition, CMSC has a repuation for feeding its attendees very well.  If you leave the Conference hungry, you weren't there.

What makes the CMSC different than an industry trade show?

The CMSC is a more focused society of members that utilize portable (and fixed) 3D Coordinate Measurement Metrology. Your registration covers all activities during the week of the conference with no additional charges for each registration.

Am I required to stay at the Grand Sierra Resort?

Attendees to the CMSC are not restricted to stay at the hotel facility where the conference is held.  In year's past, the conference has completely booked the hotel and overflow went to a hotel nearest to the conference proceedings. However each year as the surroundings change, it is much simpler to stay at the Hotel with the rest of the conference attendees where sponsors schedule events that run well into the late evening hours.  Most of these events are posted on the website program but some of the organizations sponsors do not make the publication dates.  We recomend you speak to an associate that has participated in the past or contact one of the CMSC Excutive Committee members with questions that may be more focused on your company requirements.
