Executive Committee Nominations

Each year the Nominating Committee of the CMS solicits potential candidates for the position of Vice-Chair and two positions on the Executive Committee. The election will take place prior to the Wednesday evening banquet during the week of this years conference.

 

The term of these positions will begin immediately following the conference, with an introductory meeting held Friday evening of the conference.

 

A CMS member who has attended at least two Coordinate Measurement System Conferences in the last three years is a potential candidate for the Executive Committee.

 

A CMS member who has attended at least two Coordinate Measurement System Conferences in the last three years and has had at least one previous term on the Executive Committee is a potential candidate for the Vice-Chair position.

 

These positions are voluntary, but critical to the success of the CMS and the CMSC. To be considered for nomination, please submit a short biography and digital photograph of yourself to the Nominating Chairman, Ulysses Green (nominations@cmsc.org), by June 6, 2014.

Executive Committee

There are four Executive Committee positions. Each year two of the four positions become vacant. Executive Committee members, along with the Vice-Chair, Chair and Past-Chair conduct the business and financial affairs of the CMS in accordance with the CMS Bylaws and established Policies and Procedures. Each Executive Committee position is a two-year commitment.

Executive Vice Chair

The Vice-Chair, along with the Chair, Past-Chair and Executive Committee conduct the business and financial affairs of the CMS in accordance with the CMS Bylaws and established Policies and Procedures. This is a three-year commitment. The first year is spent as Vice-Chair, the second as Chair and the third as Past Chair. The Vice-Chair position is limited to two candidates for election.
