The oldest of three brothers, Carson was born in southern California. From a young age, Carson had an interest in large machinery, construction, and how the world worked. At such a young age, Carson had no idea that most of that understanding and knowledge would come from his college years. A misunderstanding which prompted him to declare, “Mom. College was nice for you, but I’m not going to college,” as his mother dropped him off for his first day of kindergarten. Determined to prove himself correct, Carson graduated from high school in three years, before pursuing a career as a professional cyclist.
After ten years of traveling and racing, Carson shifted gears, choosing to refocus his energy on a college education, studying mechanical engineering. The timing couldn’t have been better, having relocated to Seattle, Washington just a few years prior, Carson unexpectedly found himself surrounded by companies who are on the leading edge of today’s aerospace industry. Between classes, Carson works as an intern for Electroimpact, supporting the team of engineers who lead Electroimpact’s metrology operations
