Conference Events

The Coordinate Metrology Society has opportunities for you to participate whether you're onsite at the conference or afar. The conference is the host to endless metrology workshops, training classes, Jeopardy contests and laser tracker competitions; however, there are areas to which we rely on you, as our audience to participate in.  Please share the below with peers, co-workers, employees, and students!  Your questions will be addressed where appropriate at the conference! Whether you are exhibiting or attending, we have learning opportunities abound.

Measurement Zone

At the heart of the exhibition hall, the Measurement Zone has been the most popular addition to the CMS Conference. Each day, challenging programs are scheduled for operators with all levels of experience. Participants can use different types of equipment to perform 3D measurements operations using guided and non-guided techniques. Participants apply best practices as members of the Coordinate Metrology Society and the National Physical Laboratory (NPL – UK) study the correlation between operator measurement techniques and accuracy/precision.
