Abstract
The paper will detail the testing uncertainty analysis of non-contact targets (high contrast black and white targets, 38.1mm Spheres, and 63.5mm spheres). With the combination of non-contact metrology with traditional laser tracker (SMR) measurements the goal is to demonstrate the capabilities and limitations of the Leica ATS600 when combining measurement types.
Multiple tests will be performed in order to characterize the instrument ability to find the center of the relevant target using multiple measurement settings and distances. The results from this will detail potential best practices depending on the measurement conditions and working range.
